With comprehensive notes, and step-by-\u003cbr\u003estep instructions you will find this style of weaving has a relaxing meditative flow (and can\u003cbr\u003ebecome very addictive!)\u003cbr\u003eDuring the workshop you will learn how to harvest, store and weave with a variety of natural\u003cbr\u003ematerials found easily in your garden, whilst transforming them to create your bespoke\u003cbr\u003epiece.\u003cbr\u003eWe will be working with materials gathered from local gardens including jasmine vine, palm\u003cbr\u003einflorescence, cane, iris leaves and wisteria vine. You can incorporate handmade cordage,\u003cbr\u003eand a handle if you choose to do so.\u003cbr\u003eThis class suits anyone who loves connecting with nature using with your hands and working\u003cbr\u003ewith natural materials. Beginner weavers will master the technique of creating a base, and\u003cbr\u003eshaping the sides of a basket, whilst more experienced weavers can tackle a slightly larger\u003cbr\u003ebasket.
